Macquarie Model Soaring Club will be hosting a Limited Electric Glider (LEG) competition to be held at the Blacktown Model Aero Club on Sunday, November 16, 2008. BMAC has kindly allowed us the use of their field and facilities for the day and MMSC will be organizing and running the competition.
 
We propose running the competition using LEG rules, but with the following changes:

•    The duration of the flight will be 7 minutes, not 5 minutes.
•    The landing points will be in 3 point increments, not 5 point increments.

The entrance to the Blacktown club is a tall wire-mesh gate on Doonside Road directly opposite Douglas Road. The following link will help:

There will be an entry fee of $10 to contribute towards costs of running the competition. Along with awards, all contestants will go into a draw for a lucky door prize.

We will be having a pilots briefing at 8:30 am, putting up the draw at 8:45 am with round one to start at 9:00 am. We expect a reasonable break for lunch and for competition flying to conclude before 3:30 pm.
